These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Luminar Neo (luminarneo.org). By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

Independence notice. Luminar Neo (luminarneo.org) is an independent, free AI photo editor website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Skylum, Shinyfields Limited, or the Luminar Neo desktop photo-editing software. "Luminar Neo" is a registered trademark of Shinyfields Limited (Cyprus, company number HE 256351). The AI photo-editing engine embedded on this site is a separate open-source project hosted on Hugging Face Spaces, not a product of Skylum.

1. Service description

Luminar Neo (luminarneo.org) provides a free, browser-based front-end to an embedded open-source AI photo-editing engine. You can upload a face photo and generate styled portrait outputs — including anime portraits, realistic portraits, multi-angle shots, and stylized photo effects — without creating an account.

This site is provided "as is" and is free for personal use. No subscription, no payment, no credit system.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Luminar Neo, or any AI photo-editing output generated through it, to:

Impersonate real people, public figures, or specific individuals with intent to deceive, defraud, harass, or defame.
Generate content that violates applicable laws (including, without limitation, defamation, harassment, fraud, identity theft, or copyright infringement).
Create non-consensual sexual content, sexually explicit content involving real identifiable people, or content harmful to minors.
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent security of Luminar Neo or the underlying photo-editing engine.

In addition, the underlying open-source AI photo-editing engine's terms of use apply to outputs you generate. Before using generated portraits commercially, review the underlying engine's terms at its Hugging Face Space and confirm your intended use is allowed.

3. Intellectual property

The Luminar Neo (luminarneo.org) site layout, written copy, and original branding assets are owned by the operator of luminarneo.org. The "Luminar Neo" trademark used in this site name reflects an independent fan/utility usage and we make no claim of ownership over the Skylum trademark; see the Independence notice above.
Photo-editing models, the engine implementation, and any source images you submit remain the property of their respective owners; see the underlying engine's license.
You retain whatever rights you had in face photos and other material you upload, subject to third-party rights in source material (e.g. photos of other people).

4. User-supplied content

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents for any face photo or other material you submit. Luminar Neo does not monitor, approve, or endorse user submissions. Do not upload face photos or material that infringes others' copyrights, rights of publicity, or privacy rights.

5. Third-party services

The AI photo editing is powered by an open-source image-editing engine hosted on Hugging Face Spaces. Luminar Neo has no control over the availability, uptime, or behavior of that third-party service. The Space may change, pause, or be removed at any time by its author or the hosting platform.

6. No warranty

Luminar Neo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind — express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee:

Continuous availability of the AI photo editor.
Accuracy, fidelity, or suitability of generated portraits for any particular purpose.
That generated portraits are free of third-party claims.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither Luminar Neo (luminarneo.org) nor its operators will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site, including loss of data, loss of profits, reputation damage, or any claims arising from content you generate.
